We would like to sincerely thank We Love MCR Charity for approving our grant application for their Covid-19 Community Response Fund.

This well-needed grant will allow us to better provide support to parents and carers of people with learning needs in Manchester.

The Covid-19 Community Response Fund will make awards of between £500-£3,000 and will decide on an application within 24 hours.

We Love MCR says:

“Coronavirus is now a pandemic and there’s no time to waste in getting the money to the people who need it the most. We can have the money in people’s bank accounts urgently, and sometimes within 24 hours of an application being approved.

“We’ve kick-started the Covid-19 Community Response Fund with £175,000 but we’re urging other people to donate to it with the promise that all their donations will go directly to frontline groups and charities.

“An estimated 40 per cent of Manchester’s children grow up in households that are in poverty so the time for action is now.”

The Covid-19 Community Response Fund is aimed at groups and charities in Manchester that that are supporting vulnerable people in need.
