This Carers Week, we have partnered with Connect Support, Manchester Carers Forum, Ramblers, and Together Dementia Support to hold a Walk & Talk with carers and parents of people with additional learning needs and disabilities.

It will be a leisurely walk around Wythenshawe Park, where you will have an opportunity to chat with people who understand the caring role. Refreshments will be provided after the walk.

About Carers Week:

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

This year’s theme is “Make Caring Visible and Valued”.
